What is a College Access Program?

A college access program is a program with the main purpose of helping underserved students prepare, plan, and pay for college. Existing programs in Arizona include federal programs such as GEAR UP and TRIO, as well as a plethora of institution-based, regional, city-sponsored, web-based, high school-based and community-based programs.

How can I get into a College Access Program?

Not all programs are available to everyone. A program may be limited by geographical location, age of the potential student, school district or school attendance, etc. The search function provided below will help you learn what college access programs are registered in Arizona, what they offer, and potential students who can participate.

If you cannot find a college access program to join, you can find help for college-bound students at the bottom of this page.

This initiative was funded by the Governor's Office of Education Innovation and the U.S. Department of Education
